Hailey Nichole Jennings, 27, Tragically Loses Life in Murder-Suicide Incident in Festus, MO
Hailey Nichole Jennings, a beloved 27-year-old from St. Louis, tragically lost her life in a heartbreaking murder-suicide that unfolded on Friday evening in Festus, Missouri.
Authorities identified Hailey as the victim after a wellness check by the Festus Police Department. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Hailey and another individual deceased at a home.
While the investigation into the incident continues, law enforcement has reassured the community that there is no ongoing threat. The Jefferson County authorities are assisting in the inquiry, with autopsies pending to determine the exact causes of death.
Hailey is remembered by her family and friends for her kindness and her strong ties within the community. Her parents, David and Susan Jennings (née Miller), her brother Riley (Alicia) Jennings, and her grandparents, Malinda Meyer, the late Robert Jennings, and Joan and the late Ronald Miller, mourn her untimely passing.
A visitation for Hailey will take place on Thursday, November 13, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kutis South County Chapel, located at 5255 Lemay Ferry Road. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Friday, November 14, at 10:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Hillsboro, followed by burial at Shepherd Hills Cemetery.
