Aneez Haniffa tragically passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025, while playing cricket with his team in Worcester, MA.
Aneez suddenly collapsed on the field, and despite emergency services' best efforts to revive him, he passed away.
His sudden death has left his family and community heartbroken. Aneez was known for his vibrant spirit, kindness, and selflessness. He was deeply loved for his generosity and concern for others, always willing to help those in need.
He leaves behind a grieving wife and young daughter, along with a family who depended on his support. Aneez was the primary provider for his family, including his divorced sister and her two children, and his ill brother who urgently needed heart surgery.
The family faces not only emotional grief but also financial uncertainty in the wake of his passing. A fundraiser has been set up to help cover immediate expenses such as housing, education for his daughter, and medical care for his brother.
