Craig Van Bargen, 74, Tragically Dies in a Fatal Palm Springs Car Crash
Craig Van Bargen, 74, of New York, tragically lost his life in a car accident in Palm Springs on Friday, September 26, 2025. The incident occurred after 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of North Palm Canyon Drive and North Via Las Palmas.
According to Riverside County officials, Mr. Van Bargen was crossing the street in a designated pedestrian crossing area when the accident occurred. Though the crossing was equipped with lights to alert drivers, it is reported that the lights were not functioning at the time.
