59-Year-Old Edwina Russaw Tragically Killed in Drive-By Shooting in Selma, AL
Edwina Russaw, a 59-year-old woman, lost her life in a tragic drive-by shooting at the Chanticleer Apartments in Selma, Alabama, on Sunday night, September 28, 2025.
The shooting occurred around 8:00 p.m. at the apartment complex located on the 1200 block of Woodrow Avenue. According to the Selma Police Department, Lt. Ray Blanks confirmed that Edwina was the sole fatality in the incident. Three others were injured and are receiving medical attention, although their conditions have not yet been disclosed.
