James Starnino, Beloved Family Member from Johnston, RI, Passes Away at 35
James Starnino, a cherished member of the Johnston, Rhode Island community, passed away on November 6, 2025, at the age of 35. His sudden departure has left his family and friends in deep mourning, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
James was predeceased by his grandparents, Julio and Silvia Starnino, as well as Anthony and Marie Gemma. He is survived by his loving parents, Joseph Starnino and Gail Starnino (Gemma), and his siblings, Joseph Starnino Jr., Kirby Golomboski, and Holly Starnino. James is also remembered by his niece Olivia, as well as numerous cousins and friends who shared in his life.
The community has come together in grief, with many expressing their condolences online. "You will be missed, James. Rest easy," wrote one friend, while another commented, "Sending love and prayers to the Starnino family during this difficult time."
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Maceroni Funeral Home & Cremation Services in North Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Friday, November 14th, at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas Church in Providence.
James's kind and caring nature will be greatly missed, and his legacy will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
