Jena Bartenhagen, Beloved Daughter and Friend, Passes Away at the Age of 25 in Muscatine, IA
Jena Bartenhagen, a cherished daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 25 in Muscatine, Iowa.
Jena's family and friends will forever hold her memory close. She was predeceased by her mother, Penny Barker, and her grandparents, Jerry Bartenhagen, Terry and Peggy Barker, and great-grandparents, John and Colleen LaRue.
Jena is survived by her father, Jeremy Bartenhagen, her sister, Bristol Bartenhagen, her grandmother, Sue Jarrett, and many extended family members and friends. She was deeply loved and will be remembered for the impact she made on those around her.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 10:30 AM at the Island United Methodist Church in Muscatine, IA. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her honor.
The community has expressed their condolences, with many sharing words of support and love on social media.
Jena’s vibrant spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.
