Joél Daniel Richardson, Beloved Hannibal Resident, Passes Away at 37 in Hannibal, MO
Joél Daniel Richardson, a cherished member of the Hannibal, Missouri community, tragically passed away on September 29, 2025, at the age of 37. Joél, born on October 4, 1987, will be remembered for the deep love and joy they brought to the lives of their family and friends.
In a heartfelt tribute shared online, family members expressed their sorrow, stating that Joél’s spirit would continue to shine through the memories held by those who knew them. "Though Joél may no longer walk among us, their spirit lives on, guiding us in times of darkness," one family member shared.
Joél was deeply loved by their parents, Cedric Richardson and Karry D. Richardson (Sprague). A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hannibal First Church of the Nazarene, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Hannibal YMCA, in care of Grand View Funeral Home.
As the community mourns this loss, the legacy of Joél Daniel Richardson will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by their kindness and love.
