Michael D. Metz, Beloved Son and Friend, Passes Away at 26 in Grafton, WI
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Michael D. Metz, a cherished son, sibling, and friend, who tragically passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 26 in Grafton, Wisconsin.
Michael was predeceased by his grandparents, David and Marilyn Metz, as well as Mary Kloppenburg. His aunts, Jenneifer Wentz and Donna Walsh-Frye, and uncle Brian Lukaszewski also preceded him in death. He is survived by his parents, Michael Metz (Julie) and Nicki Tuczynski (Don), his stepsiblings Eryk, Mira (Jon), and Sara (Dakota), and his grandfather James Lukaszewski (Susan).
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Mueller Funeral Homes in Grafton on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:45 PM, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Epilepsy Foundation in Michael’s memory.
The community has rallied in support of the Metz family during this difficult time. In a heartfelt post, friend Chrys Hust Hauser expressed, "I’m so sorry for your loss. Praying for all friends and family affected by this loss."
Michael’s untimely death leaves a significant void in the lives of all who knew him. His memory will forever be cherished.
