Jennifer Heit and Ryan Heit, both 40, tragically passed away on the morning of September 29, 2025, following a fatal shooting in Plainfield, Illinois. At approximately 8:00 a.m., Joliet Police responded to a residence on Burshire Court after reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers discovered the couple, who were residents of the home, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite immediate efforts, both were pronounced dead at the scene by the Kendall County Coroner's Office.
